Twitter Translations translates any tweet into your native language.

Twitter Translator

Twitter announced during this day a new function for its micro-blogging network, which allows the translation of tweets published by users. To offer this functionality, the Twitter company entered into a partnership with Microsoft, the service Bing Translator being used for real-time translations.

According to the American company, the tweets will be translated into no less than 40 languages around the world thanks to the support provided by Bing Translator. To activate the new function you will need to access your account settings, then the menu Tweet Translation from which you will have to activate the option Show Tweet Translations.

With Tweet translation, you won't miss any of the action unfolding on Twitter. You can choose when you want to see a translation for a Tweet, and you can also adjust your settings so the option to view Tweet translations is disabled.

After activating the option, in each of the tweets displayed in a language different from the one set for your account, you will see the icon of a globe. By pressing that icon, you will see a translation of the text published in that tweet, the translation being made in the language set for your Twitter account.

Considering that the translation systems are not 100% correct, there is a chance that for certain tweets you will not see a translation that is as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, the system is not currently available for mobile terminals, so we will have to wait a while for this functionality.
