Apple will withdraw the Aperture application from the Mac App Store

Photos OS X Yosemite

Last week the company Apple released OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 for Mac owners, the new version of the operating system bringing, among others, the new application Photos promised since last year by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. Shortly after the publication of the new version of the operating system, the Apple company announced that it will stop distributing the application through the Mac App Store, and now it has introduced this mention in the description of the application. After deleting the Aperture application from Mac App Store, it will no longer be able to be downloaded by new users, but those who have already downloaded it will be able to reinstall it through the Purchased menu.

When Photos for OS X is available this spring, Aperture will no longer be available for purchase from the Mac App Store.

Apple had already announced last year that the days of the Aperture application are numbered, so the announcement now should not surprise anyone, since Apple had programmed everything many months ago. If you are interested in discovering everything that the Photos application brings for OS X, then in this article you will find the details.
