Apple video maps US national parks

Apple Hawaii car

In the last few weeks, a series of cars rented by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), have been seen in multiple locations across the US recording footage for what is speculated to be a module Street View dedicated Apple Maps. After the discovery of cars in San Francisco, New York, San Diego si Florida, today we find out that they also walk through Hawaii, recording images of interesting locations that users would like to see in the system. More exactly, Apple car was seen in the national park of volcanoes existing in the big island of Hawaii, so that images from there could be visible in Apple Maps from summer.

It has already been established that these cars are not autonomous because they have a driver who controls them, so the only logical explanation related to them takes into account the fact that they record images for a Street View module dedicated to Apple Maps. Some say that Apple is actually trying to monitor the movements of cars on American roads, but the presence of an Apple car in such an exotic location without much traffic can only indicate that it is recording images for Apple Maps. That being said, iOS 9 Apple Maps will have a Street View module for Americans, it will be extended to other countries around the world later.
