Last week I told you that an episode of the famous American series Modern Family it was recorded entirely using only iPhone terminals and MacBooks of the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. The whole episode is centered on the communication methods offered by iMessage si FaceTime for iDevice/Mac owners, the front cameras of these products being used for video recording. In order to explain the complex procedure behind such an achievement, the creators of Modern Family created a video clip with recordings from the filming of the episode in the USA.
In order not to give the audience the impression that the actors are actually holding iPhones, a cameraman held the terminals in front of the actors during the filming to facilitate the entire procedure. The idea of creating an entire episode for a series by recording video clips only using cameras that do not have great quality seems to have been successful, at least from the point of view of generating interest vis-à-vis the episode. Tonight, the special episode in which Apple products are in the center of attention will be broadcast in the USA, so if you are on American territory, you will have the opportunity to see it.
