MacBook Pro 2015 and MacBook Air 2015 - the first performance tests

MacBook Retina MacBook Pro benchmark

MacBook Pro 13 inch 2015 was updated last evening by the Apple company, only new processors being implemented by those from Cupertino for customers interested in the product. According to the first performance test, the MacBook Pro 13 inch 2015 with an Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 2.7 GHz has a score of 6448 points in the multi-core test, 106 points lower than that of the MacBook Pro 13 inch 2014. In the case MacBook Air 11-inch 2015, which has an Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 1.66 GHz performances are lower, but marginally higher than those of the previous model, which obtained 5291 points in the multi-core test, compared to 5486 obtained by the current model.

In the case of the MacBook Air 13 inch 2015, the performance differences compared to the previous model are much smaller than in the case of the MacBook Air 11 inch 2015, but things could change after OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 is officially released. The Apple company has a habit of marginally improving the performance of its MacBooks, and the year 2015 does not bring any important changes from this point of view, as you can already see. Having said that, it remains to be seen in the coming weeks whether the current scores will improve significantly or not, but I would recommend you not to get your hopes up too high.
