Facebook Messenger allows money transfers to friends (Video)

Facebook Messenger has a new function available for users starting this evening, the Facebook company offering us the possibility to send money to friends directly from the application. As you can see from the image above, the Facebook Messenger application will display for certain users a sign that represents the dollar, pressing it will open a menu that allows sending money to any friend from the Facebook list in just a few seconds.

In order for this button to be visible, users must have a credit card associated with their own account, from which the money is taken which is then sent to the person chosen by the user, everything currently only works in the USA and not in other countries areas around the globe. The even more interesting part is that Facebook is launching the new money sending service without charging commissions for users at the time of making a transaction, so that all the money sent will reach the selected amount, without additional costs for the sender.

Today we're adding a new feature in Messenger that gives people a more convenient and secure way to send or receive money between friends. This feature will be rolling out over the coming months in the US. It's easy and free. The money you send is transferred right away. It may take one to three business days to make the money available to you depending on your bank, just as it does with other deposits.

Although those from Facebook are launching the free service for users of its social network, this does not mean that it will remain so forever because Americans will have to charge commissions for transactions at some point.
