Tim Cook criticizes the discriminatory laws of two American states

Tim Cook laws discrimination

Tim Cook in recent years, he has been a strong supporter of equal rights and the non-discriminatory treatment of all employees of American companies, and recently he seriously criticized the legislation imposed by two American states. Specifically, the states of Arizona and Indiana now allow companies to refuse to hire people based on their religious beliefs, Tim Cook arguing that such practices are dangerous and instigate discrimination among employees.

I have great reverence for religious freedom. As a child, I was baptized in a Baptist church, and faith has always been an important part of my life. I was never taught, nor do I believe, that religion should be used as an excuse to discriminate.

Cook compared this legislation to the time when racial segregation was present in many states in the southern US, arguing that although he supports the right of everyone to believe in whatever and whoever they want, their beliefs should not affect their ability to be employed by a company. Tim Cook has repeatedly said that large American companies must support diversity and the elimination of discriminatory laws, but he should also pay close attention to what is happening within Apple before criticizing the American states or other companies.
