Apple initiated the development process of Apple Campus 2 more than a year and a half ago, and so far we've seen a multitude of updates on how the company's $3 billion project has progressed. From images published by Apple to 4K footage taken with various types of drones, Apple Campus 2 has attracted the interest of a large number of fans of the company, and now it seems that it has a radical change.

Without giving any official reason, the Apple company has apparently decided to replace the old construction team that supervised the construction process of its new campus, choosing instead a new company to take you to fulfill the plans. No one knows what will happen with the construction process of the Apple Watch, nor if the replaced team will work on other projects, but it seems that the main structure will be built by another company.

Apple Inc. is bringing on a new general contractor to finish its multi-billion-dollar "spaceship" building at Apple Campus 2, amid questions about whether the huge project remains on track for a late-2016 completion. Rudolph & Sletten Inc., a veteran Silicon Valley builder, will complete the ring-shaped structure's interior build-out, according to multiple people with knowledge of the situation.

Those from DPR-Skanska have so far supervised the construction process of Apple Campus 2, but they will be replaced by Rudolph & Sletten Inc. for the construction of the main building, the most complex and important of all. Considering the change made by Apple, many wonder if there will be delays in the completion of the construction of the new headquarters, but this question will find an answer only next year.
