Google Street View "escalates" El Capitan, trolls Apple (Video)

El Capitan Google Street ViewEl Capitan is one of the mountains in California, its peak reaching a height of 1000 meters, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), using its name for the new version of OS X 10.11 presented on June 8 at WWDC 2015.

Although until now it has not shown much interest in El Capitan, the Google company thought of sending its Street View team to record an escalation, it being available starting today for all those interested in seeing the mountain made famous by Apple.

El Capitan is a well-known location for climbing, being one of the most difficult in California, but that did not stop people hired by Google to record for Street View their adventure to reach the top of El Capitan on a warm day in June .

For Street View, Google recorded vertical images and 360-degree images of every step taken by climbers on El Capitan, so if you will never have the opportunity to get there, at least you can now see how everything looks.

Climbing is all about flirting with the impossible and pushing the boundaries of what you think you can do. Capturing Street View imagery 3,000 feet up El Capitanproved to be an extension of that, especially when you take a camera meant for the inside of a restaurant and mount it thousands of feet up the world's most iconic rock wall.

Considering the choice of the name El Capitan for the new version of OS X, the action of Google can be viewed with some suspicion by many, some saying that Google trolled Apple by recording these images in its system.
