iOS 8.4 has problems with GPS, and I found this out two days ago when a user reported to me for the first time that his terminal stopped displaying location information, but it seems that we are talking about a fairly widespread problem among iDevice owners -hate.
It seems that iOS 8.4 has problems with GPS and applications such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, etc., cannot display information regarding the geolocation of users, and everything could be related to a simple bug in the update process and nothing more, because the number of those affected is not extremely large.
Fixing GPS issues in iOS 8.4 is quite simple and only involves a simple reset of the network settings, performing this procedure solves the problem for most of those who have applied it, but in extreme cases a restore of the terminal may be needed.
iOS 8.4 has problems with GPS and you can solve them like this:
- Access the Settings application, Configurations.
- Navigate to Settings> General> Reset, Settings > General > Reset.
- Now choose the option Reset Network Settings, Reset network settings.
After confirming the alerts, your terminal will reset, and upon restart you should be able to use the GPS again without problems with your terminals. The only bad part of this fix is that you will lose your saved passwords for WiFi networks, so if you need them, avoid it.
