Google Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P were launched today by the Google company, the event taking place at the moment bringing to the whole world two new smartphones produced by Google in collaboration with those from LG and those from Huawei.
Google Nexus 5X
We already talked about the Google Nexus 5X today when, thanks to internal documents taken from a Google partner, we found out what its technical specifications are, and today the American company has fully confirmed them all, they are the following:
- 5.2 inch screen with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 424 pixels per inch with Gorilla Glass 3 protection panel;
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core 64-bit processor clocked at 2 GHz;
- Adreno 418 graphics card;
- 2 GB RAM DDR 3;
- 16 GB or 32 GB storage space;
- 12.3 megapixel main camera with 1.55µm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, infrared assisted autofocus, 4K recording at 30 FPS and dual LED flash;
- 5 megapixel front camera with 1.4µm pixel size and f/2.2 aperture;
- mAh battery 2700
- fingerprint reader;
- USB Type-C connector;

As I already told you today, the Google Nexus 5X has a starting price of only 379 dollars in the cheapest version, Google seriously discounting the terminals they sell to application developers for the Android platform.
Google Nexus 6P
Regarding the Google Nexus 6P, we are talking about a smartphone manufactured by Huawei that has quite similar specifications from certain points of view, except for the dimensions and the internal hardware, which are the following:
- 5.7 inch screen with 1440p resolution and 518 pixels per inch;
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor;
- 3 GB RAM;
- 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB storage space;
- 12.3 megapixel main camera with 1.55µm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, infrared assisted autofocus, 4K recording and dual LED flash;
- 8 megapixel front camera with 1.4µm pixel size and f/2.4 aperture;
- fingerprint reader;
- USB Type-C connector;
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Google Nexus 6P is also made of an aluminum used in aircraft, so we are talking about a very light frame that is also extremely resistant, so bending it will not be as easy as you might imagine.
The Google Nexus 6P is available for purchase at prices starting from only 500 dollars in the basic version, so that Google manages to sell top smartphones that are cheaper than the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus sold by Apple.
