What can you do with 3D Touch on iPhone 6S?
As I told you in the review, with 3D Touch on iPhone 6S you can do the following and more:
- we access menus or functions of some applications through shortcuts displayed after a strong press on an application icon;
- we preview web pages, pictures, menus of some applications or even projects in iMovie with a light press through a gesture called Peek;
- we access web pages, emails, pictures or others by completing the Peek gesture with a strong press through a gesture called Pop;
- quickly view the latest photos recorded through the Camera application with a Peek gesture;
- quickly create contacts or access a list of options for calling or sending messages to others;
- we control various games of the App Store;
- switch from one application to another using a gesture or access the App Switcher.
3D Touch is a system with great potential and what we see now is only a small part of what we will have in the future, but this as Apple will open the APIs of the system to developers and the latter will update their applications .
