Real internet browsing speeds at Orange, Telekom, Vodafone and Digi MobilReal internet browsing speeds at Orange, Telekom, Vodafone and Digi Mobil were revealed in a study carried out by ANCOM, the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications, based on the tests done on the Netograf.ro platform since the beginning of this year.

The study is divided into two categories, real mobile internet speeds of Orange, Telekom, Vodafone and Digi Mobil, plus vthe real fixed internet ites of Digital Cable Systems, Nextgen Communications, RCS & RDS, Telekom România Communications and UPC Romania.

According to those from ANCOM, approximately 100.000 tests were performed through the Netograf.ro platform and validated to be cataloged in this study, the government agency recording a total of 120.000 tests, the difference of 20.000 being ignored based on the identification of the tests as errors or attempts to manipulate the final result.

Good, moving now to what matters more, you can in the table above that Orange Romania is the mobile phone operator with the best test results, offering internet browsing speeds of 27.83 Mbps at home and 39.21 Mbps outside.

Digi Mobil offers 2.62 Mbps at home and 2.85 Mbps abroad, Telekom offers 10.25 Mbps at home and 13.46 Mbps abroad, while Vodafone offers 15.78 Mbps at home and 26.77 Mbps abroad, the difference between Orange and the rest being considerable.

The second table shows the fixed internet speeds of the main 5 operators represented in the tests carried out on the Netograf platform, with the first place being, as expected, those from RCS & RDS, offering download speeds of 98.95 Mbps.

Behind them we have those from Nextgen, UPC occupying the third position, Digital Cable Systems occupying the fourth position, while Telekom is surprisingly placed in the last position, although it has a fairly well-developed infrastructure.
