The CEO of Alphabet talks about Steve Jobs

Larry Page Steve JobsCEO A, Larry Page, spoke in a recent interview about the relationship he had with Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple, A now being the company that owns Google.

Although Larry Page and Steve Jobs were not always "on the same wavelength" in many ways, he claims that each was right in the way he decided to run his company, both Apple and Google managing to develop enormously in recent years.

Steve Jobs said many years ago that Google was developing too many projects at the same time and that it should adopt Apple's attitude of focusing only on certain important products, but reality proved that each approach was good for every company.

He was right. He did fine as well [...] We're trying to make a company for entrepreneurs [we're trying to] think creatively.

Of course, Larry Page and Steve Jobs had contradictory discussions about the way Google treated Android and the functions implemented in it, but in the end each was right in his way of controlling every aspect of the operation of his own company.
