iOS 9.1 – big problems for Touch ID

iOS 9.1 Touch ID issuesiOS 9.1 it creates big problems for Touch ID on iPhone or iPad, and a very large number of users have been reporting them for two weeks on Apple's discussion forums and beyond.

During this period Touch ID problems in iOS 9.1 they boiled down to the impossibility of recognizing the fingerprint, the recognition of the fingerprint after many reading attempts, the impossibility of registering a fingerprint during the setup process and many, many others.

The problem with Touch ID in iOS 9.1 it is even higher because some people failed to restore the functionality of the terminals to normal even after performing a restore, but here the use or non-use of a backup is the key, because most use old backups that import the problems.

iOS 9.1 – big problems for Touch ID

Even so, the Apple company has solved a lot problems in iOS 9.1, less the Touch ID problems and it seems that they affect a very large number of people, the American company not yet having anything to explain about them.

The complaints are similar: users running iOS 9.1 find Touch ID either refuses to recognize a user's fingerprint, has become highly unreliable or doesn't even register a fingerprint pressed against it. Users have tried hard resets (holding the power and home button for 10 seconds) and complete factory resets without any success.

Although I use iOS 9.1 on two terminals, I haven't encountered any yet the problem with the Touch ID system and maybe this is somewhat understandable, considering that the problem seems to be a random one that is not necessarily related to a specific model of iDevice.

Given that iOS 9.0.2 can no longer be installed at the moment, the only solution to try to solve the problem is to install iOS beta 9.2 2 or iOS 9.2 public beta 2, but if you use a backup after installing them, there is a very high chance that the problem will not be solved.
