The amazing gesture of a taxi driver

business driverTaxi drivers are not among the most loved people on the planet, regardless of the country, and this is because of the chaotic style of driving in traffic, no matter how crowded it is, but a taxi driver in Bangkok deserves full praise.

The man on the right of each image returned an iPhone left in his car while traveling 2 to the tourist he had left at a hotel, but who inadvertently left his iPhone in the taxi driver's car, arriving home in the meantime.

Contacting the taxi company, the tourist managed to find out which car transported him to his hotel, and 2 hours later the taxi driver who drove him arrived at his room with the terminal in hand, even though he lived 2 hours away from the respective hotel.

Although he had no obligation and although normally almost no other taxi driver would have traveled 2 hours to return an iPhone, he probably would have appropriated it regardless of what kind of doubts would have hovered over his sincerity.

A Pattaya taxi driver made a Scottish man's birthday even more special when he drove two hours to his hotel in Bangkok to return his forgotten iPhone. After Fraser realized he had lost his phone, he got the cab's license plate from the hotel's CCTV and the hotel contacted the driver's taxi company.

For his gesture, the taxi driver accepted 55 dollars, a pretty good amount that would have easily covered the cost of diesel and the time lost to return the phone to its rightful owner.

Considering that in Romania we have heard countless cases of iPhones being forgotten in taxi meters and disappearing in black holes, I think that some have a lot to learn from here.
