Smartphones with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM are ready

smartphone 6 GB 8 GB RAMSmartphones with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM are already planned for official launch on global markets, and that's because Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 is the first chip for mobile terminals capable of supporting up to 8 GB RAM.

Although Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 not yet launched on global markets, Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 is in production and the first information about it suggests that it will offer support for 8 GB of RAM, but also that it will be produced using a 10nm manufacturing process.

Before you get too excited that smartphones will have more RAM than a regular laptop, I must tell you that only in 2017 will we see the first smartphones with 6 GB of RAM, the transition to 8 GB of RAM will only be made in 2018.

In practice, in 2016, Android smartphone manufacturers will make the transition from 4 GB RAM to 6 GB RAM in smartphones, following that from 2018 the current RAM will be doubled to 8 GB, this evolution being already predicted by many analysts.

Now Huawei / OPPO / vivo flagship comes with 4GB, and next year will come out with 6GB phone with 8GB you may want to the year after, because the fire-breathing processor Qualcomm Xiaolong 830 seems to support 8GB (code 8998, made burned lifetime ah, 820 not listed ).

Even if the information comes as a rumor for now, I'm pretty sure that smartphones with 8 GB of RAM will exist, and that's because no one seems to be able to make Android fast enough even with 4 GB of RAM.

If in the case of PCs things have stabilized for several years and 4-6 GB of RAM are enough for an ordinary user even with the newest operating systems, here is how in the case of smartphones things are evolving, but not necessarily in the best direction.

What do you think about smartphones with 8 GB RAM?
