Boomerang is an application launched a few weeks ago in App Store by company Instagram, being intended to compete with the new Live photos function implemented by Apple in the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
Although the name does not suggest this, the application Boomerang records a video clip or an image that is continuously played back and forth, as you can see in the video clip below, the idea behind it being interesting in a narrow range of situations.
According to those from Instagram, application Boomerang it very quickly records 10 photos that it turns into a one-second movie or an animated image that is continuously played back and forth, the photos can be shared both on Instagram and on Facebook.
The application was updated last night, it is now also available for iPad tablets, offering more control over the recording duration of video clips and bringing support for the use of the LED flash of the terminal cameras.
