Apple asks developers to implement 3D Touch in applications

apple encourage 3D TouchThrough an email sent during this morning, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), asks developers to implement Touch 3D in the iOS applications available in the App Store, the latter being rather reluctant to offer the new functionality.

3D Touch was implemented together with iOS 9 in iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus, the Apple company offering these terminals a new functionality that was intended to motivate users to buy the devices, but it lacks the support of application developers.

3D Touch has enormous potential, but without implementation in third-party applications available in the App Store, it is useless, and the Apple company is trying to motivate developers to offer more functionality to users of iDevices compatible with this system.

Apple recommends application developers to check all the materials that are made available to them through the portal dedicated to them on the website of the American company, but it is hard to believe that many will rush to implement 3D Touch in applications.

This email shows that Apple is unhappy with the way app developers implement 3D Touch support in titles available in the App Store at the moment, so I wouldn't expect a growing number of apps to offer this support.
