Microsoft is ending support for Internet Explorer

Internet ExplorerMicrosoft has announced for some time that starting from January 12th, it will no longer provide support for Internet Explorer, its famous browser offered together with the Windows operating system for PCs around the world.

Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 they will remain without support from Microsoft starting on January 12, when a final patch will be released for them, recommending users to upgrade to a newer version of the browser.

After the end of support for Internet Explorer, the browser will no longer receive updates to solve security or performance problems, so all those who will use the three previously mentioned versions will remain vulnerable to hackers.

Internet Explorer 11 or Microsoft Edge are the alternatives that users have at their disposal, the last of them being integrated in Windows 10, so if you have this version of the operating system, you won't have to worry about anything else.

Beginning January 12, 2016, only the most current version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical supports and security updates. Internet Explorer 11 is the last version of Internet Explorer, and will continue to receive security updates, compatibility fixes, and technical support on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
