The iPhone 7 will be thinner, but without an audio port

Slim iPhone 7 without audio portThe iPhone 7 will be thinner and will not have a 3.5mm audio port, a well-known American publication confirming the rumors of the last weeks regarding the changes that the Apple company will make for its future smartphone.

Removing the iPhone 3.5's 7mm audio port it will only leave room for a Lightning port at the base of the terminal, users being forced to use wireless headphones or adapters that allow the connection of 3.5mm hacks to the Lightning ports.

The elimination of this audio port is based on Apple's desire to do so iPhone 7 thinner than the rest of the iPhones, but of course Apple has other plans based on this change, one of which is the implementation of a new system for canceling ambient noises.

Specifically, the Apple company will implement an ambient noise cancellation system which was developed by the British company Wolfson Microelectronics, it is being implemented both in iPhone 7, as well as in the headphones sold for him, Apple going to ask the partners who make Lightning headphones to use this technology.

The interesting part is that Apple would not implement this technology in EarPods offered in the iPhone 7 package, but would sell a more expensive version of them that has it included, so we are talking about the same greedy strategy of Apple regarding the products.

Next, it seems that iPhone 7 would finally offer wireless charging for users and although it is not said which standard will be used for this implementation, there is a very good chance that we will be talking about the one used for the Apple Watch.

Finally, we are told again that iPhone 7 will be waterproof, the Apple company finally wanting to offer smartphones that cannot be affected by contact with water, the iPhone 6S being close to fulfilling this strict requirement, but the future smartphone will definitely offer it.

The last two features are not 100% sure to be implemented in the iPhone 7, so Apple could give up on them at any time, but I have heard a variety of rumors regarding waterproofing, so I consider it implemented in the iPhone 7.
