Botvac Connected, the vacuum cleaner that can be controlled with a smartphone

The first vacuum cleaner that can be controlled with a smartphone was also invented. It's about Botvac Connected, the self-cleaning vacuum cleaner invented by the Neato company.

Compatible with iDevices, the robot vacuum cleaner can be connected to Wi-Fi and can be closed or opened using the smartphone. Through the application, a cleaning program can be configured and the user receives notifications regarding the progress made during the cleaning process.

The vacuum cleaner scans the objects with the help of lasers to avoid them and after finishing cleaning in one room, it moves to the next, without waiting for other commands, if they have not been configured. The vacuum cleaner can cover an area of almost 500 meters in two hours, until its battery runs out.

Picture this: you're at work when you learn that an unexpected company is on the way to your house. You grab your smartphone, access the Neato app and with a couple of taps your Neato robot immediately starts cleaning. Your floors - at least - are clean when your guests arrive.

Neato will put the Botvac Connected vacuum cleaner on sale at the end of this year and will have a price of $699.
