If you thought that any iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are compatible with the function Night Shift a iOS 9.3, well I tell you that you are wrong because Apple has decided that only certain devices sold worldwide are able to support this functionality.
Night Shift is a feature introduced by Apple starting with iOS 9.3 in the idea of allowing users to have a better experience of using iDevices after sunset when it relies only on diffused light from the house, reducing the brightness of the screens and changing the colors to reduce the negative impact on the eyes.
According to Apple, only iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches that have 64-bit chips can run Night Shift in iOS 9.3, i.e. any terminals that were launched starting with iPhone 5S and iPad Air/iPad Mini 2, the rest of the devices being incompatible with it.
Nobody officially knows why Apple chose to implement this limitation for the Night Shift function in iOS 9.3, but unofficially we are talking about a new restriction designed to motivate users to buy the newest iDevices on the market.
