Apple wants to open a research and development center next to Blackberry

The Apple company intends to open a research and development center in Canada, but the interesting part is that it is located near Blackberry QNX desktops, the division of the Blackberry company that develops software for autonomous cars.

Although some may mistakenly think that Apple rented over 7000 square meters of office space near the Blackberry QNX offices just by mistake, the reality is that Apple will try to attract some of Blackberry's employees with very attractive salaries.

Blackberry QNX is already used in some cars sold all over the world and the Apple company knows how good the system already offered by the Canadians is, and based on this action by Apple it can be understood that the software developed for autonomous cars would be extremely good.

Renting office space next to a Blackberry building makes the procedure of attracting Canadian clients much simpler, since they don't have to leave their city to work at Apple, the workplace being very close to the old one.

KRP describes the property as a "full-floor office suite with executive boardroom, meeting rooms, several offices, server room, lunchroom, showers, private balconies and lab space." The building's director of leasing did not respond to a request for comment.

We all know that Apple is developing an electric and autonomous car, and we all know that Apple has employed a lot of engineers from some car manufacturers, so stealing some Blackberry's would not be something hard to imagine, especially since others also steal the talented employees of the Apple company.
