Apple often visits Stanford's virtual reality lab

Last week I told you that Apple has a team of engineers developing a virtual reality system within its laboratories in Cupertino, but it seems that they are not only working there, but also within the virtual reality laboratory of Stanford.

According to those from Stanford, although the Apple company did not express its interest in the past years vis-à-vis the systems virtual reality, in the last three months, its employees visited the laboratories of the university campus three times to follow the discussions taking place there.

To understand how important this change in attitude is, the founding director of Stanford's virtual reality lab says that Apple has not visited the location for 13 years and in the last three months its employees have been there 3 times.

Apple representatives participated in demonstrations with virtual reality systems, those from Stanford running various social projects and not only to demonstrate how these systems can change people's perception of the world in which they live.

Apple hasn't come to my lab in 13 years, except they've come three times in the last three months. They come and they don't say a word, but there's a data point for you.

Corroborating the information from last week with these statements of the director of the Stanford laboratory, it is as clear as possible that Apple has a clear interest in developing virtual reality systems, but it remains to be seen how it will materialize.
