This is how you control the car using a smartphone (Video)

Last week I told you that Volvo implemented in his new S90 a system that allows controlling the car using only a smartphone and a dedicated application, and today we have the opportunity to see how this very interesting system works.

Controlling cars with smartphones is starting to become more and more common and you all know that Tesla cars are easy to control from an iPhone or even an Apple Watch, but including the cars from BMW or Audi benefit from the same thing.

Now the ones from Volvo offers the same functionality for users who rent S90 from various car rental services, the new system allows cars to be unlocked or started from a smartphone using a digital key that can be shared with multiple people.

Basically, a user rents a car, receives the digital key in the application and can use the car without a physical key, the connection between the car and the smartphone being made via Bluetooth, and the video clip below shows very clearly how simple things become.
