Samsung Galaxy S7 recorded record pre-orders in China

Samsung Galaxy S7 si Galaxy Edge S7 they are in high demand in China, where the two terminals are registering over 7.6 million pre-orders at local online stores, the figure being much higher than that recorded in the case of their predecessors last year.

The online store jd.com alone has registered 6.35 million pre-orders so far, another retailer has already registered another 1.3 million pre-orders, and local analysts speculate that by March 18 it will reach 10 million pre-orders or even more a lot.

Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be closed on March 18, and even if the figure of 10 million pre-ordered units will not be reached by then, we can still say that the new smartphones are a real success in the country with the largest population on the globe.

All these pre-orders were registered in just 5 days of availability of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge for pre-order, the terminals having better performances than those of Apple smartphones in China, at least until now.

There are eight retail channels through which customers in China can pre-order the new handsets. Customers have pre-ordered over 6.35 million units of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge from one of the biggest online retailers in China, JD.com. Pre-orders at the retailer Suning have crossed 1.3 million units while retailers Gome and Lynx have already sold out of their pre-order inventory.

No one knows how many Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have been sold since March 11 and until now in all the countries where the terminals were launched, but there is a possibility that only China will match that figure, if Samsung will have enough units to meet market demand.
