iPhone SE recorded pre-orders of 3.4 million units in China following the opening of the pre-order session last week, the figure being astonishing considering that we are talking about a smartphone with a design that is almost 4 years old.
The figure is not an official one, but those from CNBC present it as safe, and if we are really talking about pre-orders of 3.4 million units in China alone, then the global sales could be at least double, if we think about the countries where the terminal can be pre-ordered.
The figure of 3.4 million units is taken over from Apple partner stores in China that offer pre-order iPhone SE, implicitly and some mobile phone operators, and to be completely honest I am amazed by the popularity of Americans' smartphones.
According to the publication, the golden version of iPhone SE is the most popular in China at the moment, it being followed by the rose gold version, in the fall things were exactly the opposite when it came to the popularity of the iPhone 6S versions sold by Apple.
Unfortunately, for now it is not known how many sales it has recorded iPhone SE in the USA or other important countries around the world, but we will probably find out in the following days and Apple should announce the official figures only next Monday, after the official launch of the smartphone.
