iPhone and the trick that can free GB of space occupied unnecessarily

If you have an iPhone with only 16 GB of storage space and you often end up running out of space to install new applications or download any kind of content available in Apple stores, well a new trick might let you free up a few GB of space when required.

Many users from abroad they confirmed that the trick works without problems, and those from cNET claim that the method is real and with the help of this trick we can free a few GB of space from our terminals in just a few very simple steps.

Before I tell you what to do, I must admit that I tried the method and did not manage to reproduce it, so you will have to decide for yourself whether it is worth trying or not because you may not have any positive results after following the steps below.

  1. Open the application Settings, Configurations and go to General > About, General > Information, and there check the Available space, and remember the displayed value.
  2. Now the trick recommends downloading a very large size movie via iTunes Store, but in Romania we do not have movies available for download. In this situation you can try to open the application Podcasts and look for a file that is larger than your available space.
  3. Select that file and its download, then you will see an alert that it is larger than the free space available for the terminal.
  4. In this alert message, choose the option to go to the Settings application, Configurations, and if you check the available space now, you should notice that there is a value higher than the previous one.
  5. Repeating this procedure should free up to a few GB of unnecessarily occupied space in your terminals.

Considering that the trick only works abroad with the iTunes Store application, there is a possibility that using the Podcasts or App Store application to download large files does not activate the bug that clears the iOS cache.

In this situation, you can try the trick with an Apple ID for the US, but one that has a bank card attached or has credit to make purchases.
