Here's how iPhone battery life has evolved over the years

Annually the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), launches a new model of iPhone and with each update it also improves the battery life of our smartphones, but it never manages to be as good as the users would like.

To show us how the battery autonomy of iDevices has evolved, an Italian website created the graph below which shows the hours of stand-by, conversations and music offered by the various iPhone models launched by the Apple company from 2007 until now.

You can notice that iPhone 2G offers the shortest talk time of all the iPhone models, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6S Plus offering the most time for talking on the phone, followed by iPhone 6S, iPhone 6, iPhone SE, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

Regarding the hours of music playback, the situation is similar, the exception being that the terminals released from iPhone 4 to iPhone 5C offer exactly the same period of time to listen to music and not an extra minute.

Finally, we have the stand-by period, and here the smartphones with a 5.5-inch screen win by far, but the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 are surprisingly very close behind them, the rest of the terminals having a little less stand time - by.

Having said that, you have a complete picture of the evolution of iPhone battery life over the years, I'm curious to know what you think about this test.
