iPhone 7 could be much faster thanks to Samsung

Samsung is one of the main suppliers of components for the Apple company, and this year the Koreans could do iPhone 7 much faster than iPhone 6S if they would give it to those in Cupertino the new DDR4 RAM modules for which they recently started production.

Samsung initiated mass production of new DDR4 RAM modules that are produced using a 10nm manufacturing process, these being the first components of this type manufactured by any RAM module manufacturer, so we are talking about something exclusive to Samsung.

According to the Koreans, the new DDR4 RAM modules are 30% faster than those produced using a 20nm manufacturing process and used in the iPhone 6S offering data transfer speeds of up to 3200 Mbps while consumes up to 20% less energy than their predecessors.

In fact, Samsung has announced the launch of components that are much, much more efficient and faster than those currently used in the iPhone 6S, and if Apple decides to implement them in the iPhone 7, it will offer us a sensational performance sport together with an increase in battery autonomy.

Samsung and Hynix are the current suppliers of RAM modules for iPhone 6S and there are very high chances that these two companies will be chosen for iPhone 7, but Samsung will have a big advantage thanks to the new types of DDR 4 RAM modules announced today.

The problem with these new components is that they are expensive now because they have just entered production, so Apple might decide not to buy them until next year when the price will drop, but maybe we will see something good from those in Cupertino this year.
