News Feed is the main section of Facebook, most of the content published through the social network being seen by users through this section, and the American company is preparing some important changes for it.
Those from Facebook has been testing the new News Feed interface for some time, it will be initially implemented only for mobile terminals, various sections for news to be visible to users, as you can see in the image below.
Although a general content feed will also be available, those from Facebook will display the information and segmented it on various topics of interest, the content creators probably following to apply the appropriate tags for that content to appear in the respective sections.
The change prepared by Facebook is based on some requirements of users who, apparently, would like to see the information and segmented on various topics of interest, so that they can more easily discover what interests them, without seeing the rest of the nothings published by all users.
People have told us they'd like options to see more stories on Facebook around specific topics they're interested in. So we have been testing a few feeds for people to see more and different stories from people and Pages based on topic areas.
Of course, this new format for the News Feed can be administered through a special section that will allow the deactivation of all news sections, the activation of some more important ones, or all of them, so that the users finally choose whatever they want.
For now it is not known when or if this new format will be launched, but since Facebook has been testing it, apparently for some time, and it seems to be quite complex, I think that in the not too distant future we will have it available in Facebook application.
