As part of efforts to celebrate Earth Day, the Apple company published last night an advertisement that tries to show the whole world how it uses renewable energy to support services used by hundreds of millions of people.
Apple brings to the fore the iMessage service that processes billions of messages daily and is used by a good part of the more than 1 billion owners of active iDevices, the data centers that send messages between terminals operating entirely using renewable energy.
Just a week ago, the Apple company said that all its data centers operate on the basis of renewable energy, but also that over 90% of the Apple Stores are supported in exactly the same way, those from Cupertino being very proud of this achievement.
