It seems that the App Store displays erroneous results for searches made for applications, and in some cases, applications opposite to those searched for, or applications that only enhance the functionality of the application you want to install, are displayed.
The problems seem to affect all App Stores around the world, on all Apple iDevices, so if you happen to be looking for an application and can't find it, well now you know what the cause of the problems is.
UPDATED: Apple has acknowledged the existence of the problem and announces that it is working on its solution.
