Facebook Moments was finally launched in Romania and we are talking about an application from Facebook that was initially thought to give users the opportunity to privately share pictures that they do not want to publish on the social network.
In the USA and other areas of the globe, Facebook Moments it works based on an advanced facial recognition system that automatically suggests friends to whom we should share photos or videos recorded using this application.
In Romania and other areas around the world, the application does not include this facial recognition system, but instead groups photos based on recognized objects in them and suggests groups of photos that should be shared with people who might appear in the photos.
Practically, Facebook removed from the application Moments the defining function and decided to release the title in a worse format for countries where the law does not allow it to use the facial recognition system, and so Europe and other areas of the globe have access to it.
Finally, an easy way to get all the photos of yourself trapped on your friends' phones. After events, celebrations, trips or just hanging out, it's no longer a hassle to collect all the photos you'll want to look back on.
