iOS 9.3.2 – first impressions

iOS 9.3.2 was released last night by Apple, you all know what the changelog of this update for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touches contains, but of course many of you are interested in finding out if this update is worth installing or not.

I use various beta versions of iOS 9.3.2 since their first appearance and I can say that the performances had an upward evolution until the final version, the user experience also improving from one update to another.

Unfortunately, Apple blocked the bug that allowed it disabling animations in iPhone or iPad, so I was forced to return to iOS, which doesn't seem as fast as before, the animations slowing everything down to the point where I end up wishing for something faster.

iOS 9.3.2 comes with lag and lag again

Unfortunately, the existence of these animations also generates lag when exiting or entering an application's interface, lag when opening the task switcher and many of the transitions made between applications, or accessing certain menus of some applications.

This problem existed in all beta versions of iOS 9.3.2 and apart from it I cannot report any other problem encountered in using this beta version on iPhone terminals, the overall experience being relatively good, with the exception of these moments of cumbersome playback of the interface user.

Yesterday I told you that some tablets iPad Pros were stuck with error 56 after installing iOS 9.3.2 and if you have such a device, I recommend you avoid the update because there is a possibility of ending up in the same situation, a solution not being available.

Although in general the final updates of a major version of iOS bring improvements to the performance of iDevices and improve the general user experience, in the case of iOS 9.3.2 things are not quite like that, so I'm waiting for future updates for a better experience.

What experience did you have with iOS 9.3.2?
