Telekom Romania announced today expanding 4G coverage for customers from prit stopped reetea, so now 96% of the urban population will benefit from the 4G services of the mobile operator, the announcement being an extremely important one.
Extended coverage applies Only for new and existing customers of Telekom subscriptions and MagentaONE offers, but only if their tariff plans include 4G services, the rest of prepaid customers without 4G options remaining with the old coverage.
The extension of Telekom's coverage is thanks to the strategic partnership concluded with Orange, so that all these customers will actually connect to the urban network of those from Orange Romania and will benefit from their services, under the Telekom umbrella.
In essence, we are talking about a national roaming agreement similar to the one concluded between Digi Mobil and Vodafone, only that in the case of Telekom and Orange it has a different name and each operator has its own set of benefits based on this extended collaboration.
Orange announced today the launch of fixed internet, fixed cable TV and fixed telephony services, benefiting from the Telekom network to offer these services, so in the end users gain more options for this type of service.

Extended 4G coverage is available to new and existing Telekom Romania customers, both residential and from the business segment, of subscription-based mobile services and MagentaONE offers, with tariff plans that include 4G services.
Telekom Romania Mobile offers an extensive portfolio of mobile services with data traffic included at 4G speeds, both for residential and business customers. With mobile service subscriptions from the Telekom Romania offer – Talk, Surf and Complete – with prices starting from EUR 8,95 / month (VAT included), residential customers can benefit from up to 8 GB of data traffic included, at 4G speeds. Also, individual users of mobile data services on the tablet can benefit from up to 60 GB of data traffic with the subscriptions Surf data, with prices starting from EUR 8,95 / month (VAT included).
With subscriptions Unlimited Business business customers can benefit from included mobile voice and data services and extra data options at 4G speeds, covering the most varied smartphone communication needs of companies in any industry. Also subscriptions Surf data offers up to 60 GB mobile data traffic on laptop and tablet at 4G speeds.
