Along with everything iOS 10 news, the Apple company also published the list of iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch compatible with iOS 10, and from this point of view there are no surprises, as some of you probably expected before tonight's event.
More precisely, the Apple company has confirmed for everyone that iOS 10 is not compatible with iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 5G, iPad 2 and iPad 3, the rest of the terminals that could run iOS 9 until now being able to run the the latest version of iOS.
The reason why the above-mentioned terminals are not found in the list of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch compatible with iOS 10 is very simple: they have too weak hardware to run all the new functions that Apple has prepared for users around the world the whole
iOS 10 can be installed on:
- iPhone 5;
- iPhone 5C;
- iPhone 5S;
- iPhone SE;
- iPhone 6;
- iPhone 6 Plus;
- iPhone 6S;
- iPhone 6S Plus;
- iPad 4;
- iPad Air;
- iPad Air 2;
- iPad mini 2;
- iPad mini 3;
- iPad mini 4;
- iPad Pro 12.9 inches;
- iPad Pro 9.7 inches;
- iPod Touch 6G.
Practically, by excluding those terminals, the Apple company greatly shortened the list of devices compatible with iOS 10, as was normal.
