Of course, that person must have the application duo installed so that the calling procedure can be initiated, all video calls can only be made through the Google platform, the video stream being adjusted according to the quality of the internet connection, and this so that the feed is not interrupted during the call .
Moreover, the Duo application will continue to keep its video stream active even if the user is traveling and his terminal switches from a Wi-Fi connection to a 3G/4G mobile connection, so theoretically the calls will not be interrupted in the event that you disconnect from the Wi-Fi network on which the call was initiated.
Duo is simple from start to finish. To get started, all you need is your phone number and you'll be able to reach people in your phone's contacts list. No separate account is required, so you can sign up in just a few steps. From there, you can instantly start a video call with a single tap. Call quality adjusts to changing network conditions to keep you connected — when bandwidth is limited, Duo will gracefully reduce the resolution to keep the call going smoothly. For video calls on the go, Duo will switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data automatically without dropping your call.
Moreover, those from Google have decided to encrypt Duo video calls between users, so that they cannot be intercepted, this level of security is also offered by Apple's FaceTime platform, so users have additional reasons to enjoy the system.
