Today the Apple company opened a blog in which it tries to present to the whole world the benefits that the personal assistant Siri can offer for third-party applications. Starting with iOS 10, those at Apple have implemented the possibility of using special APIs to connect Siri with third-party applications, and now they are trying to convince developers to do it.
From applications that it helps us to buy online faster, or to send money to any kind of people, Apple presents different situations in which Siri can simplify our lives. Moreover, the assistant can be used with applications such as WhatsApp to quickly send messages to any friends, something currently impossible.
In its blog, Apple presents various applications that would have integrated support for Siri and they will probably offer it right from the moment iOS 10 is available. Apple works with a lot of developers before an update for iOS in the idea of having applications with prepared functions, so it is not excluded that everything happens the same way now.
Probably few developers have so far rushed to update their applications with support for Siri, and Apple is trying to motivate them to do it by mid-September. Only then will we see how useful Siri really is for use with such applications, so we won't have much to wait until we can try everything, in English or in other languages supported by Siri, not Romanian.
