Facebook has new features for Halloween

Facebook has released new buttons and masks for Halloween, some users can already enjoy them.

The other day the company Facebook updated its application for iPhone and iPad, and within it implemented a series of new elements especially for Halloween. Facebook users now allow users to use new buttons to interact with posts made by their friends, but also to apply masks for live broadcasts made through the application.

To begin with, the application allows the use of new interaction buttons instead of like/love, etc., the latter being specially designed for Halloween. According to those who already have them, the new buttons include: a skeleton hand, a heart-shaped candy, a witch, a ghost, Frankenstein's monster and a pumpkin.

These buttons are displayed immediately after the user tries to interact with a post to like it, but only in certain areas of the globe, Facebook avoiding to say what they are.

The second part of the change is related to Facebook Live, the American company now allows the use of a series of masks for Halloween. You can see in the image below what these masks look like that Facebook allows us to apply, they intelligently cover the user's face during the broadcast.

Masks are available in the menu that allows us to apply filters during Facebook Live broadcasts, but of course only certain countries have them available. More precisely, only users from the USA, Great Britain and New Zealand can enjoy them, so in Romania you will not be able to use them, unfortunately.
