In the image below you can see what it looks like and we are talking about an OLED bulb that can provide electricity including for a smartphone or other gadget that needs power.
According to its creators, PowerBulb is the first OLED bulb that has two USB ports through which any kind of smartphone or electronic gadget can be charged. The idea itself is very simple, and with the help of this project, any kind of lamp can be transformed into a charging station for the mobile phones that we use in everyday life.
The two USB ports of the PowerBulb can provide up to 7 watts for charging, so we are not talking about a very fast charge that can be done with its help. The bulb itself can offer up to 50.000 hours of operation and has a power of 608 lumens, so we are talking about a product that performs two functions without problems.
At the moment, PowerBulb is asking for financing to reach the market, and if it collects enough money, it will go into production and will be sold at the price of 34 dollars at the time of launch. So, what do you think about PowerBulb?
