A new update for the game Pokemon GO will bring users the opportunity to discover new Pokemon, along with a special Christmas Pikachu. The new pokemon include characters like Togepi and characters available in the Gold and Silver versions of the console games, so if you've played them, then you know what to expect.
All these pokemon should already be available in the virtual maps of Pokemon GO without needing to update the application, and in the video clip below you can see all the new ones. As for the Christmas version of Pikachu, it will be available until December 29th, so you'll have to catch it before then.
The Pokemon Go application has been updated repeatedly during this year, despite the fact that the number of monthly active users has constantly decreased. Niantic is trying to give people new reasons to use Pokemon GO, and maybe these updates will be enough to do it.
Pokemon Go currently generates approximately 3 million dollars daily for those at Niantic and the amount could increase during the winter holidays. The Pokemon Go application can be downloaded for free from the AppStore following this link.
