Google published today the list of the most popular searches made by Romanians using the search engine throughout 2016. As you can see below, in the top of the most popular searches is Euro 2016, the European football championship in France attracting everyone's attention the Romanians since the national was present.
Separately, the results of the baccalaureate exams and national assessment complete, together with online movies and Pokemon Go, a top 5 of the most searched expressions. iPhone 7 placed 6th in the search list, this being the only gadget that found a place in the list of the most popular searches of 2016 in Romania.
Apart from these, you can see that the lists are segmented below, and in the field of technology the iPhone 7 was king, followed by the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6 respectively. iPhone 6S is the last Apple product present in the technological top, a sign that Romanians do not attach much importance to Apple Watch, iPad tablets, or Macs launched by Apple.
Not even iOS, macOS or watchOS made it to the top of searches, so the greatest interest was in iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S, the rest of Apple products being non-existent for the vast majority of Romanians who search on Google.
