Facebook Live Audio was launched today by the Facebook company for users around the world, this being a new version of the Facebook Live system. According to the American company, Facebook Live Audio allows users to stream audio through the Facebook company's platform, as happens in the case of video streaming sessions.
Facebook Live Audio was created especially for those who don't want to do video streaming sessions, but just want to share a story without filming themselves. In this idea, Facebook Live Audio is launched in partnership with the BBC, one of the biggest radio stations in the world, and so users see the potential of this new Facebook system.
Facebook Live Audio is also intended for those who cannot do video streaming sessions in areas where the internet connection is very weak. Using Facebook Live Audio, these users can share their experiences through words, without words, so they are not limited by the existing system in the Facebook social network.
Facebook Live Audio has been released for users
Facebook Live Audio works in the same way as Facebook Live, so users will have the opportunity to choose what kind of broadcast they want to make in the post writing interface. After initiating the Facebook Live Audio session, it will be visible in the News Feeds of those who follow the person who initiated the session, so everything happens exactly as in the case of any Facebook Live stream.
Facebook Live Audio will also work in the background for Android users, so they will be able to close the application and use others while listening to a Facebook audio stream. Unfortunately, iOS users will not be able to enjoy such functionality for Facebook Live Audio because Apple prevents audio playback in the background.
Facebook Live Audio is now launched in partnership with BCC, with other partners to provide content for Facebook in the future. Facebook Live Audio will be gradually rolled out in the Facebook app for everyone in the coming weeks.
