TravelersBox allows you to top up iTunes or PayPal accounts from the airport

TravelersBox is a network of vending machines in airports in various countries around the world, and in 7 of them visitors will be able to top up iTunes or Paypal accounts, among others. The idea behind TravelersBox machines is to allow airline passengers to get rid of the coins and banknotes of the country they are leaving, without keeping them forgotten in drawers.

If you have traveled outside of Romania, then you must have left on your way back with various coins that are difficult to exchange in Romania, many of them being forgotten in the service. To avoid situations in which you are left with unspent foreign money, TravelersBox will help you fund iTunes, PayPal accounts, donate the money to charity, or turn it into Starbucks vouchers, etc.

Although a 7% commission is charged for each transaction, it is still preferable to transfer 93% of an amount to iTunes or Paypal, than to remain with 100% in the drawer. The machines can be used by any person, and the accepted currency can be paper or metal, but in accordance with the official currency of the country where the supply is made.

At the moment TravelersBox machines from Canada, Philippines, Georgia, Italy, Israel, Japan, and Turkey can be used with iTunes or Paypal, others from Hong Kong, Australia, India, Indonesia or Malaysia will allow the same in the future, but most likely with minimum amounts to be entered for feeding.

In Romania it is hard to say if such machines will arrive, but in Europe you can find them in Italy or Turkey, or Georgia if you get there.
