Apple will have a special center to produce product prototypes

Company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it will have a special research and development center within which it will be able to produce prototypes for the products it will launch on the global markets. It will be built by Foxconn, the largest manufacturer of iPhone terminals in the world, the location where it will be built is Shenzen, China, according to Asian sources.

Sources close to Apple and Foxconn say that the new center will allow strengthening the collaboration between Apple and Foxconn, the prototypes in turn leading to the development of better products. The new center is to be built during 2017, so Apple could use it for some products that will be launched this year on the market.

Apart from this center in Shenzen, the Apple company will also open another research and development center in Beihing, where more than 100 million dollars will be invested. In the two locations, the Apple company will work together with Samsung engineers to produce the prototypes of its future products, but also to test them before launch.

Those from Foxconn already have two research and development centers in Shenzhen where they have been producing and testing prototypes of new Apple products for some time. In one of them, Foxconn is said to be developing the wireless charging system that should be implemented in the iPhone 8, so there are certainly various prototypes that have integrated it.

"Foxconn is planning to build a new facility next to Apple's upcoming research and development center in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen. Foxconn aims to better help Apple create prototypes of new products in this new campus. Most recently, it has been trying to build the wireless charging module in Shenzhen for the upcoming model to be launched in conjunction with iPhone's 10th anniversary."
