Fire Emblem Heroes – Nintendo's third hit game

Fire Emblem Heroes is the third Nintendo game released in the AppStore for our iDevices, it being available this week for us. The game was not launched with as much fanfare as Super Mario Run, but it is off to a pretty good start, according to a company specialized in analyzing the mobile applications market.

More precisely, those from Sensor Tower claim that the game Fire Emblem Heroes for iDevices recorded revenues of 2.9 million dollars in the first day of availability. The receipts are impressive and place the game on the 3rd place in the top of the games with the highest receipts on the first day of availability, quite far from Super Mario Run, however.

Considering that the Fire Emblem series is not quite as popular as Pokemon or Super Mario outside of Asia, the results are interesting. The Japanese generated the most downloads for Nintendo's Fire Emblem Heroes game, registering 2 million downloads on the first day of availability in the AppStore.

Fire Emblem Heroes is an RPG type game that Nintendo launched, which means we have the opportunity to control a series of heroes in the virtual world created by the company. The game is a card game, so we will have to collect playing cards to use in the virtual battles, these types of games being very successful in Asia.
