Version 4.18 of the application Waze was launched last night in App Store by the company with the same name, offering users the opportunity to benefit from guided navigation based on the traffic conditions on the route they are going to cross.
In today's update, the Waze application brings us the possibility to search for locations according to their category, so we will be able to find hotels, shopping locations and much more much more easily. Moreover, now the Waze application is able to recognize even voice commands, so we will be able to perform searches just by saying the names of the locations.
Next, the Waze application displays the distance to a certain location in real time while we type it, so we will know in real time how far we have to go. Finally, various minor issues were resolved and some performance issues were improved.
- Search by category: Find places by category, like nearby parking, restaurants, hotels, shopping, and more without having to type exact names
- Search by voice update: Search for a street by speaking its name in the language of the country you're in, even if your Waze is in another language
- Auto complete distance: See the distance to any location as you type it in the Search box, with the new auto complete distance feature
- Minor bug fixes and improvements
