For the 10th consecutive year, the Apple company is placed on the first position in the list of the most admired companies on the planet. Remaining the most admired company on the planet, Apple is positioned in front of Amazon, Starbucks, Berkshire Hathaway and Disney, Alphabet being placed in the 6th position in this annual top.
Those from Microsoft reach the 9th position, tied with Facebook, but those from Samsung have completely disappeared from the top 50 most admired companies on the planet. The annual top is made by Fortune, so we are talking about one of the most reputable publications on the planet, so its results are worth taking into account.
3800 managers, analysts, directors and experts in the IT industry were surveyed for this top, and the final results are based on a good part of the information from them. They must give grades to companies if they innovated in the previous year, if they behaved well with employees, if they improved their social responsibility measures and if they launched quality products and services.
For this top, Fortune first looked at 1000 of the largest US companies and at 500 international companies with revenues of over 10 billion dollars. Having this starting point, the people from Fortune finally reached the top that you can see below, and this for the 10th time in a row.
